We stayed at this hotel over the bank holiday weekend in August 2008. When we first arrived into our room we could not find the bedroom and worked out that we had to pull the sofa chairs together to make a bed. the rooms were basic and nothing special and had fridge,cooker etc. rooms were cleaned every 2 days and the view onto Magaluf beach was breath taking. Staff were very friendly apart from 1 who comes into your room with a clip board on the day of your departure and checks everything to how many knives and forks to how clean the walls were which was hard to believe as they hadnt been cleaned in around 5 year.
The water in the rooms was rotten and a bit of advice would be to run the taps for around 5 minutes before you use the water as it was a murky brown colour.
Word of warning. this hotel is situated between magaluf and palma nova in a place called Torrenova and is right at the top of a very steep hill which is very tireing but a taxi will cost you 3 euro if u dont wanna walk it. Oh and if your a women hold onto your man for the hookers half way up the steep hill after 2am looking for drunk vunerable men.
My impression was the hotel was more for groups than family but we did see the odd family in there.
