Torreblanca Hotel, Convenient location

16 April 2008
We found that this hotel was comfortable and roomy. Literally 200 metres from the sea front and in a quiet area. Situated no more than 100 metres from Torreblanca railway station (not Fuengirola station) it is very handy for rail trips to explore the area and for evening excursions in to Fuengirola and other resorts on the line. Once you realise that you can catch a train from the airport right to the hotel you can forget about expensive transfers. The hotel was clean with towels changed daily. The food was what you would anticipate of buffet service and there was entertainment every night. We intend staying there again.

we just had a fantastic eight days at the hotel torreblanca . The train station that connects from malaga airport is a big plus for this hotel. We had spacious and spotless clean bedroom.Maid service was excellent every day .Plenty of food and a great choice everday eat as much as you like. entertainment at the hotel was mainly spainish and everbody entered into spirit of things. The lifts do need to be speeded up.

Hotel Torreblanca

We have just spent a pleasant week at the Hotel Torreblanca. The staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and clean, with a change of towels & linen most days, and the air conditioning was free. The food was excellent and a good variety for both Spanish and English guests. The location of the hotel is ideal for the beach, just a short walk away and the train station at the back of the hotel is ideal for the airport transfer. The grounds are quiet and the two pools are large and clean. We would definitely recommend this hotel, excellent value for money.

Have just returned from a week at the Hotel Torreblanca. The position is perfect for railway which connects to the airport in 25 minutes and only costs 1.35 euros. The hotel room was large, typically spanish and also very clean. public areas were also very well looked after and the restaurant was well staffed and friendly. I found the food to be of a high standard and varied a great deal. The location was ideal for local bars, shops and beach. Would certainly go back for another stay.

the hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very plesent. Meals were ok but mostly to suit the spanish, but eating out was very cheap and there were loads of resturants near by. \We would definately go back to this hotel. The swimming pool and gardens were lovely. The hotel is right beside the train station and about 3 minutes walk from the beach.

Hotel was easy to get to from airport, just follow the signs to the train station, ticket cost less than £1 and hotel accessible directly from Torreblanca station. The reception area is painted a ghastly acid yellow/sky blue combination but can be forgiven.
I was allocated a room towards the front of the hotel and it was huge,it had an entrance area with a fridge (not mini-bar) and a huge bathroom complete with hairdryer.  The room itself was much larger than average and had aircon and sat tv with views around to mountains and beach.  There is slight traffic noise due to proximity to dual carriageway and hotel is on a hill.  This did not impair enjoyment.  Adequate sun loungers and mattresses available and two swimmingpools and a pool bar.  The food was typical for the category of hotel officially a 4* Playa.  Plenty for breakfast and loads of fresh fruit.  Hotel was definitely worth the money would not hesitate to return again. Small variety of shops locally but vast amount in Fuengirola should satisfy. Buses and trains in abundance for getting out and about or if you hire car hotel has parking lot at front down hill.

We stayed in this hotel Sept 06. We had a great time. We were only B&B but the food was endless and something for everyone. The entertainment was mainly for the Spanish but it was great fun. The rooms are very spacious if a little dated but if it's only for sleeping in the decor doesn't matter. Lots of great bars and restaurants very handy or take the train into Fuengirola, there is a walkway from the hotel car park into the station, great for airport transfer too, only 1 euro 25 cents. the staff were all very friendly, especially Juan (or Johnny)the barman! I would stay there again anytime.

after reading a lot of bad reviews about torreblanca i was pleasantly suprised by the standard of the hotel. the room was spacious, clean and air conditioned. it was also right next to the train station and about 5 mins walk from the beach and the shops and restaurants. if i were to visit this area again i would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is now old and appeares to be in need of renovation, its locaction is reasonable with a 10 min. walk to the beach however on the plus side it is located close to an exceptional on time train sevice between Fungirola an Malaga,
Which could be used for Airport transfer at low cost. The food was found to be poor and certainly not upto 4 star standard in other hotels we have used in Spain, room service was good, only 2 lifts available not enough and certain times..Staff friendly and helpful .A very general hotelok for 1week.

Second time we have stayed at this hotel and once again it proved excellent value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful and while some areas of the hotel are dated the cleanliness cannot be faulted. The buffets offer plenty of choice and the drinks in the restaurant are very reasonable. The hotel has two small pools and the gardens are kept immaculate. Both times we have stayed at this hotel the majority of the guests have been Spanish end the entertainment on offer reflected that. The hotel is in a very quiet area of the resort and is more suited to couples and families than younger people who may find that evening entertainment is limited.

THIS HOTEL IS PLEASANTLY LOCATED AND VERY CONVENIENT TO THE TRAIN STATION, WHICH EVERYBODY MUST TRY AS IT IS VERY ACCESSIBLE TO ALL PLACES AND FOR ANYONE WHO HAS A DISABILTY.
THE RESTAURANT - SEATING IS NOT REALLY ADEQUATE IN THE EVENING AS YOU HAD TO WAIT FOR A TABLE, THEN OF COURSE NOT MUCH CHOICE OF FOOD LEFT. WOULD HAVE LIKED TO SEE SOME CUSTARD OR GRAVY WITH MEALS.
THE SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD.
ROOMS - GOOD STANDARD ALSO WITH A MINI FRIDGE WHICH WAS IDEAL
TOWEL CHANGED EVERYDAY.
OVERALL THE HOLIDAY WAS 1ST CLASS THIS IS NOW OUR SECOND TIME OF STAYING AT THIS HOTEL.

Spent a 5 night break in March 06 at Torreblanca - had an excellent stay and would not hesitate in recommending the hotel to others. More suitable in early season for couples, but in the height of summer, would easily cater for families.
Excellent service with linen cleaned daily, hotel recently tastefully refurbished. All in all, an excellent stay at an excellent hotel.

We are 50+ & it suited us very well. Could not do better for the price.  Located 2 minutes from the beach (slight hill & busy road to cross but at least it is on a main bus route!)  Also train station close by so no need to hire a car. We caught the train from the airport - no hassle.
Rooms spacious, clean & comfortable.  Food very good with plenty of choice - buffet service. Staff very friendly and most speak good English (they also put up with my poor Spanish).  Entertainment each evening - typical of this type of hotel.  At the price we paid we didn't feel guilty going out to sample the local restaurants and bars (of which there are many, on one or two evenings.

Two outdoor pools, plenty of room to laze in the sun.  Balconies all have sea view.

Not our first visit and I'm sure it will not be our last.

AN EXCELLENT 3* HOTEL - GOOD FOOD ALL YOU CAN EAT.
VERY NICE LARGE GRASS/GARDEN AREA WITH 2 LOVELY POOLS AND LOTS OF SUNBEDS. THE 2 LIFTS GET VERY BUSY ON ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE OF COACH TOURS. CLOSE EASY WALKING TO BEACH AND BARS AT EAST END OF RESORT. QUIET AT NIGHT BUT WE DID GO IN JUNE BEFORE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. WE HIRED A CAR FROM AIRPORT BUT NEXT TIME WILL TAKE THE TRAIN BECAUSE THE TORREBLANCA STATION IS RIGHT BEHIND THE HOTEL, THE TRAIN IS VERY CHEAP AND SO RELIABLE EVERY 30 MINS.
THE STAFF AT THIS HOTEL DO MAKE IT A "HOME FROM HOME".
