Review of 'TORRE DEL CONDE'
15 March 2006
Torre del Conde is located in the middle of the town, next to (and linked to) its sister hotel Garajonay, near to several restaurants and within walking distance (600m) of the ferry terminal. Our double room was large, clean and well equipped with reasonably sized bathroom. The price(£44)was very reasonable. The room looked over the road, which provided an opportunity for people and traffic watching, but was not noisy. Rooms at the back would have more expansive views over the Torre del Conde park to the mountains and the sea. The DIY continental-style breakfast offered plenty of variety.

Review of 'TORRE DEL CONDE'

This is a comfortable, convenient hotel - close to port, restaurants & bus station. Modern & welcoming. Good rooms - quiet - ask to overlook the park at the back. The staff are friendly & helpful. Breakfasts offer a good choice. I would have liked a kettle in my room, but they did have a hairdryer. Good walks in the area,& connections to the whole island & other islands. very enjoyable.

Perfect base for LaGomera - just a stroll from the ferry, handy for everything in San Sabastien and you can easily get up into the hills on-foot. Our room was spotless and well equipped and breakfast was perfect.
We were a little disappointed that they couldn't arrange an early breakfast for us when we had to leave to get the first ferry.

Review of 'TORRE DEL CONDE' La Gomera
21 July 2005
The Hotel Torre del Conde was a surprising find on this incredible island of La Gomera, one of the little known Canary Islands. The island has had a reputation for only having two very luxurious and expensive hotels - the Parador and the Jardin del Tecino. This has always stopped me from staying on La Gomera and therefore not being able to explore the island.
The Hotel Torre del Conde is a recently refurbished, 32 bedroom, town centre hotel which backs onto a very pretty park of the same name (make sure you book a back room overlooking the park). It's a three star hotel, but the facilities are all first class. The rooms are all large, air-conditioned and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast, included in the price was excellent. The staff were friendly and the central location was brilliant. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, which is just 5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal. Thanks for helping me to find this little gem.
