Use the Bus instead of Tube

We found the walk to/from the nearest tube a bit of a pest, but there is a great bus service at the top of the road which will take/link you to all the sights/attractions. Get an Oyster card which covers tube and bus journeys where the amount you spend is capped every day - if you use the bus/tube combinations you will have very little wasted walking. This hotel is excellent value, with a really lovely breakfast, and friendly, helpful staff. Only small gripe was that the twin beds were a bit on the narrow side! (Must eat less!)

GOOD VALUE, EXELLENT STAFF

A little far from tubes, but good bus access. Clean & well maintained. Food very good & reasonable price. Staff superb, cannot fault them. Only dowside is plumbing somewhat noisy. On the whole very good.

After a brisk 10 minute walk from the nearest tube station, we were extremely pleased to be greeted by the cheerful and courteous staff. Our rooms were large and tastefully decorated with all the comforts of home. The hotel is within easy reach of several restaurants and bars though the hotel menu is very extensive and reasonably priced. Breakfast next morning catered for all tastes, most of the items being freshly cooked. If you can manage the walk from the tube station this hotel is a must. We will be back…

Convenient yet quiet location not far from Hyde Park. Very good service from attentive staff, excellent breakfast, in house restaurant better than many London offerings. This is a traditional style hotel with a relaxed ambience. Would come again.

We were made to feel very welcome All the staff were lovely,helpfull, polite, The room was very nice, the breakfast excellent,the location was very good handy for everywhere, we will recommend this hotel to family and friends and will Definately stay here again. MANY THANKS WE HAD A LOVELY TIME.
