Stayed here for a long weekend at the beginning of June 07. Asked for a standard room but on a high floor and we got just that with a great view of the Av Da Liberade. Room immaculate and comfortable. Two restaurants plus light meals in the lobby area. Breakfast buffet good with lots of choice but naturally gets busy between 9am -9.30am and you may have to wait for a table. Ate one evening in the top floor Terrace restaurant, great views and a good meal. Outside they have a heated pool which is situated in a shaded garden area with a pool bar great for a lunch time snack. Towels for the pool freely available. The hotel is just a 10 minute walk from the main city areas, buses pass every few minutes and the metro is just a 2 minute walk away, clean, fast and very inexpensive. Lisbon is compact and is a change from the usual weekend break cities. What made it for us were the people, who were really friendly and helpful. All in all a really enjoyable weekend.
