Review of Timhotel

I chose this hotel because of the review which gave me a good idea of hotel. So I have added a bit more to mine, hopefully helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean. It is a little out of Paris, but not too far, with excellent transport links. From the Airport CDG you take the train to Denfert Rochereau (25 mins max) and then metro to Corvisart which is literally two mins journey. Out of metro left (metro behind you) walk a short way and left into road for Hotel, it is so easy two mins walk from hotel. Dont be scared to make your own way there on metro and train from airports or main station if taking Eurostar, its easy. Nice suburb with lots going on within walking distance from hotel also. Metro line at hotel is direct to Eifel Tower. We used this alll the time. Metro tickets can be used on train also. We used Batobus which you pick up opp Eifelll Tower as taxi, this is a hop on/off boat excellent and cheap. Taxi to hotel from Sacre Cuer about 20 euros after midnight. (Sacre coeur definite place to go in evening, fantastic restaurants and area). Taxi from centre of Paris Opera to Hotel 14 Euro if need it. I thought overall it was a good hotel, clean, showers were powerful and bathroom was not too small. Towels provided (small side but very clean) Shower gel and shampoo provided. Breakfast buffet style and very good, bread, ham, hard-boiled eggs, juices, tea/coffee, pain au choc and croissants cereal etc. Very good value hotel, when booking on internet. It was a quiet area and quiet hotel. Decor is tired. Staff were all helpful, they all speak English some good some weaker, but all helpful with our many questions. Overall we thought an excellent place to stay and base yourself being so near to metro made whizzing all over the place easy. There is a little restaurant nearby opposite almost and a lovely bakery, small market with everything held in mornings, we saw it Sunday morning. It is not Hilton, good value for money particularly if on budget as we were. M Zenonos Group of Friends/couples aged 19-50
