not up to standard

room was small, bathroom a cupboard.. furniture outdated.. and had to climb over when going up a step to the bathroom. bed was full of springs through the mattress.. breakfast on first morning was totally inedible.. on 2nd morning had to q for 25 mins and it was still inedible.. I will not stay with britania hotels again

We chose this hotel for my birthday as we have stayed here before. They are really helpful, and the hotel is of a much better standard than the B&B's, for not much more money. There were 3 of us this time and we were in a family room with bunk beds, a single bed, and an ajoining room with a double. As we were going out before check-in time they just took our bags and put them in a locked room. When we finally got in at 4am they carried them up to the room for us! Breakfast is buffet style with something for everyone. Will definitely stay again.

Review of 'THE SAVOY'

although this was just a one night stay we found the hotel staff very helpfull, the room was a reasonable size and warm as it was very cold in november.  breakfast was plentifull with a good selection to suit everybody. the hotel is well situated for everything and our room had a view of the prom and sea front.there is also plenty of parking spaces, we would stay again and recommend it to anyone.
