everything ok with oasis hotel

We found Oasis hotel very nice, clean, rich in fashion. A very good compromise quality/price. Useful free connection to/from downtown, and several well organized amenities at the hotel. Short driving distance to Giza Pyramids

Stylish hotel convenient for Cairo & Pyramids

Our room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly and always on hand to help. Within the hotel complex there were several restaurants and bars to choose from and a big pool to relax by.
The drive to Cairo was about 20-30 mins but the free hotel shuttle bus meant that the journey was hassle free. The pyramids were only a short drive away and the hotel car service allows you to hire a driver for the morning or full day to take you to the main sites - we did this and it was definitely worth the very reasonable fee! I would definitely go back to this hotel.

April 2008. Good Hotel near pyramids. Nice rooms. Good breakfast. Nice lobby. German and english speaking guest relations manager, very helpful. At all good service, for this area we come back.

Date of visit = 31/07/07 - 03/08/07
Cost of taxi from/to airport = £8 (barter)
Staff = Friendly and helpful.
Food = Good- Breafast plenty of choice
Italian restaurant excellent Family of three dined to excess for £25
this included drinks.
Taxi Hire = Drivers are friendly, speak good english, and gave useful/helpful advise all for £3.5 an hour!!.
Facilities= Appeared good though didn't use them. Basketball/football/T/tennis/gym/sauna etc.
Pool= Adequate - limited sunbeds- good pool/towell attendant.
Rooms= Adequate for the time spent in them/cleaned daily.
Location= 20mins from pyramids, 30mins from Cairo centre by taxi.
Overall= If we ever go back to Cairo would definitely consider using again.
