Mirage is Brilliant

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at the Mirage and I love it. Centrally located on the strip it offers the usual casino facilities, has a great pool area with plenty of loungers although it does get busy at the weekends. The rooms are quite spacious and kept clean, we did have to keep asking for extra towels but they were always delivered to the room in minutes. The new Revolution/Beatles bar is great and much needed. We saw Love whilst we were there and that was great, well worth seeing and probably one of the best Cirque Du Soleil shows on in Vegas (there are 5 at the moment). The Carneigie Deli was great although quite expensive. Best place for a meal in Vegas has got to be Smith and Wolenski next door to Planet Hollywood Would recommed the Mirage to anybody but advise you to check your bill on departure, twice they have tried to charge me for an in room movie that I didn't have and there was a chap next to me checking out who had the same issue. That said, they removed the charge without any quibble when I queried it.

Review of 'The Mirage'

It cost around $15 from the airport to the mirage so not too far! The positioning of the hotel is great, we walked everywhere from here as it is kinda in the middle of the strip. The rooms are huge and we had two double beds. The hotel itself is massive and they have different elevators for different floors so make sure you go in the right one! On the first day we had lunch at the pizza outlet and to be honest it was the best pizza we have both ever had (try the shrimp one), it is however quite expensive to eat in the hotel itself but well worth it! Due to us travelling out of season the pool was closed so I can't review this which we where advised by alpha rooms before we travelled, thank you! There is a resturant called Margaritaville almost opposite and I recommend you try it the food is good and the entertainment even better, Be careful though it gets very very busy later on. Also just up from the hotel is the Fashion Show Mall. All in all the Mirage is brilliant!!
