Establishment The Grace Hotel is an elegantly restored heritage listed Neo Gothic hotel built in 1930. The Grace was commandeered by the Australian Government in 1942 for the use of General Douglas MacArthur during his South Pacific operations in World War II. Situated in the heart of Sydney’s Central Business District the Grace Hotel fronts three of Sydney’s most prominent streets; York, King and Clarence, and is just a few minutes walk from Darling Harbour. The hotel features a number of restaurants and cafes serving a global menu. The Grace also boasts a health and fitness centre, featuring a gym, pool and sauna. A range of beauty treatments are also on offer, including massages, body wraps and facials; yoga classes and a beautician and hair stylist are also available.PLEASE NOTE: The Grace Hotel will close the Brassiere Restaurant due to an urgent upgrade of the main kitchen. The hotel’s Brassiere Restaurant will be closed until 31st January 2008, however guests may use Bar77G located on the Mezzanine Level which will provide buffet breakfast during this time. Room service will also not be available during the kitchen upgrade.
