Good location hotel

Good location, nice clean room, good breakfast; room was a bit small for 2 persons but overall felt this was a good hotel.

hotel is basic, and met my needs of a clean bed & breakfast hotel  in central London; staff polite; continental breakfast - good; agree with customer who commented on lift - this definitely needs updating - too small and squeaky.  On the whole served my needs and I'm a fussy customer.  Area nice and you feel safe in the day; used taxi back at night; perhaps if two people travelling would be ok - cost travelling within central London - £11.60p.  Would recommend hotel if on a budget. Not many of us English know about it though! Visited November 2006.

A good, basic hotel in a good area: choice of two tubes within 5 or 10 minutes walk. Continental breakfast was very good; very small breakfast room but get in before 9.15 am and you're OK. We were the only British people staying there, which made it seem like we were abroad which is good really. Definitely recommended for couples or families with older children. Only smallish problem is the lift: Michael Douglas and Glenn Close would never have got past handshakes. Take the stairs.

The hotel had been newly refurbished to a high standard with modern furnishings.

The rooms were clean and the service excellent.

Good continental breakfast and an upgrade to a cooked breakfast was only £2.50.

Great location right next to Kensington GArdens and near Queensway tube.
