birthday bash in benidorm may 2008
21 May 2008
This is the first time we have stayed at terralta apartments, we will defanatley be going back, The rooms were great very clean, and well maintained, the staff were very freindly and spoke good english, made you feel very at home, there is a steep hill up to the apartments but the taxis are cheap so you can always get back around 5 euros, i must state if you are travelling back to the airport on a monday please allow urselfs plenty time,we were in traffic on the motorway and although we did get home it was very close, lots of people use motorway on mondays because of work and people going to university there is also a charge of 60 euros for the room as a deposit but you get it back once your stay is over, also 14 euros for the use of the safe but you get 6 of that back, theres plenty for everyone to do in benidorm, if your in to drag artist then rich bitch is a show not to be missed from the time you enter the building its fun all night, you wont regret it, good value for money but you do have to book, we are defanitly going back to these apartments so terralta you will be seeing us again and thank you for a wonderful stay top marks all around .

fantastic
07 March 2008
For my first and not my last time in benidorm, I couldn't have hoped to stay at such a fantastic hotel.
So much so we're counting the days to our return on 3rd june .
Would not go anywhere else.
Food basic but staff 100% helpful .
So easy to reach the nightlife and great to wake up to the peace and quiet.

Fantastic!!!
25 October 2007
We stayed in these apartments in October 2007 and I loved it! The room we stayed in was exceptionally clean and there was plenty of room. The staff are all very friendly and the reception staff all speak very good english. The 'hill' was not as bad as we was expecting, but was much easier to go down it, than up! It is situated in a quiter area of Benidorm but was only a 5-10 minute walk to the busier area. The food in the hotel was basic but good and restaurants in benidorm are limited if u want your meal before 9pm, however we did find a fantastic restaurant called 'Daja Fu' which was fantastic! If u find it - u must try it however booking is advised. I would definetely advice this apartments to anyone and we will definently be back!
Overall - FANTASTIC!

Terralta apartments
21 September 2007
We stayed at the apts in Sept 07, and thought they were very clean and roomy.
The pool area and playground was loved by our 2year old, and he also loved the playroom.
The apts are located in a quieter area of benidorm, which was great for us, and even the hill isent that bad(and i was 3months pregnant at the time)
The only downside was the food, which is all typical british fast food, which may appeal to some but not to us, and we struggled to find anywhere that did fresh veg.
All in all we had a great time, and i would recommend these apts to anyone.

We stayed here in July 2007 and cannot fault the Terralta about anything . We loved the location , the pool and all facilities the apartments offered. We have already booked to return next year. Would recommend these apartments to all age groups , with or without children. Our two boys aged 12yrs and 8yrs had a fantastic time and they cant wait to go back.

Sehr zufrieden !!!
17 June 2007

Terralta apt's Benidorm
12 June 2007
Myself and my 17 year old son stayed at the Terralta in June and I cannot praise it highly enough. It is in an excellent position, just 5 mins from the old town and in a very secluded area with fine views over the coastline. It was great value for money with good facilities including an excellent pool area. I would definitely recommend the Terralta to anyone looking for a reasonably priced and well looked after complex, suitable for adults and kids of all ages alike.

terralta apartments
21 May 2007
We stayed in a one bedroomed apartment in august 2006 and found it very spacious and clean. The apartments are air conditioned which was a godsend as the temperatures in august are in the nineties. Pool was clean and huge, snack bar was adequate and reasonably priced. Entertainment wasnt upto much, but for 3 euros you can go into benidorm for pretty much what you require. The kids loved it and i would use these apartments again. The hill outside going down to the beach is a doddle but coming back up is a killer!. No good for the infirm or disabled, but as taxis are so cheap it doesnt really matter.

Review of 'Terralta'
28 March 2007
I read a lot of reviews about this and other hotels in benidorm. This one was for a self catering one bed apartment. The apartment was a huge size, separate bedroom with twin beds and full size wardrobe and lockers. Fully equipped kitchen with hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, full delph and cutlery and a full size table and chairs. Living room which was shared with the kitchen consisted of two sofas, tv(poor range of english speaking channels), telephone and coffee table. Here you had a double patio door leading out onto a nice sized patio, basic plastic furniture. the room was immaculately clean and very modern. The apartments themselves were located up a hill(not steep) about 600 metres from the old town and 1km from the beach and new town. If you are looking for an active nightlife holiday you are better off staying in the Levante side of Benidorm, it cost €7 in a taxi down to the main nightlife near the marina hotel. To make up for this however the hotel has entertainment every night except saturday nights, there are shows (spanish dancing and the like) on four times during the week. Each night there is bingo, quizes and games organised in the entertainment room, karaoke is played out as well on certain nights. there is a games room with pool tables, darts board, arcade games and table tennis. The hotel has a restauarant in house which is very reasonable and of good quality, drinks are reasonably priced with a happy hour each night from 9pm to 10pm. The bar staff and reception staff were all very helpful and good fun too if you interacted with them. The hotel had two pools, one large freeform and one smaller heated pool. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool. Would recommend this hotel to couples and families, got a very competitive rate and would return to this apartments again.

the terralta apartments were lovely, clean and spacious. they are situated close to the old town only about a ten minute walk away and to the beach, levante is about a twenty minute walk away. they are situated in a quiet residential area away from the hussle and bussle of other hotels. we found the food to be nice in the restaurant especialy the breakfast and there in a supermarket on site that sells english branded foods. most nights the hotel entertainmet was bingo, kareoke and quizes but every other night there was a show put on and happy hour at the bar was nine till ten, two pints of amstell four euros but the bar closed at twelve so we would then get a taxi into levante and stay out till five in the morning. would definitely go back.

My husband and I were in the Terralta - February 2007 for 2 weeks - and we loved it so much we have booked to go back on 29th December 2007 for 6 weeks. As for 'the hill' - what 'hill'? There are plendty of buses and, by the way, our ages are 66 and 71 years respectively.

I have now stayed at these apartments 3 times and intend to stay there again without reservation. I cannot think of any negative points save perhaps it's a little way from the beach and old town and on an incline. That apart everything else gets a big thumbs up.

Excellent apartments. Spacious and clean. Maid service etc very good. Reception and barmen good too Good size pool. Life guard attendant at all times. Good poolside activities. Ideal for families Night time activities OK , with a show most nights Hotel is a bit isolated, with a 10 min. walk downhill into Poniente beach area. Mostly spanish bars/restaurants around the Poniente side, with a few British bars, if that is what you seek. Personally speaking, I preferred to be at this end of Benidorm, away from the 'mad' Levante end. Hourly Bus service (no.8) from hotel into central Benidorm, or walk down to get no. 12 which is much more regular. All bus fares 1 Euro each, irrespective of age. If there are a few of you much better to use taxis (hotel reception call for you), which will cost you 5-6 Euros, and doesn't do the 'tour of Benidorm' that the buses do. Trips to Mundomar(marine park)/Aqualandia (water park) are a must. Tip - if the offer is still on you can get vouchers from Burger King - adults half price, kids free. We got into Mundomar for around £20 for 2 adults + 2 kids. Great value for money. Another must is Terra Mitica, the local theme park (stands for Mythical World). Very well built, great rides & shows. Again there are various discounts available, eg 10 euros off per person.Go early (opens at 10.00) Really is a full day-out experience.

This was my second stay at the Terralta apts.and once again almost everything about it was excellant from the friendly welcome you receive when you arrive, right through to the cleanliness of the whole site. The lovely bar staff always had time for my 5 year old daughter. Some people do complain about the hill climb up to the apts.but from our own personal view it is just a nice bit of excercise. The one thing I still think can be improved on is the on-site entertainment because the apts. are set back from the beach bars and other attractions it needs more to keep people on-site in the evenings.Otherwise it was a very very enjoyable holiday. My family will definitely be returning to Terralta apts.in the near future.

11 May 2006
My two daughters of 19 and 10 and I stayed there in April of this year and found it to be excellent.
Most British people staying there seem to come from the North and there are plenty of english bars around to feel at home in.
Yes there is a steep hill to deal with but once down at the seafront just turn left to go into the old town - much the best part of Benidorm with numerous shop and restaurants and street theatre happenings. To get back up cut through some wooded wasteland where every Wednesday is held a fantastic market for fresh produce, clothes etc.
Being three unaccompanied females we did not sample any late nightlife outside of the Terralta entertainment which had something for everyone.
The famtastic main pool is not heated so can be shocking - the indoor heated pool was great for the cooler cloudier days.

there was 11 of our party ranging from about 11 to 60. The apts were spotless, plenty of sunloungers and space around the pool. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, not to mention always happy in the morning!! Apts are situated up a steady incline, which wasnt the best for a couple of the party, but it was about 5 or 6 euro for a taxi from the old town. All in all we had a really good holiday, and i would recommend these apts to anybody.

March 31 2006 - Have just returned from the Terralata Apartments in Benidorm. We spent 6 days there - myself, my husband, my daughter and baby granddaughter.
The indpendent reviews that these apartments got were exceptional and this is why we booked them and they certainly lived up to the reviews.
The apartments are spotless - as is all the equipment in the kitchen. Our apartment overlooked the pool area, which was spacious and again very clean. A really large free form pool with different level for swimming or just sitting in the water. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hill to the apartments is quite steep but there is an alternative route where the hill is not too steep.
The restaurant food was basic but very reasonably priced - evrythibg on the menu could be had a s a "take away" if you wished.
All in all a very pleasant stay and I would recommend these apartments for the level of cleanliness they offered.

An enjoyable break
29 January 2006
We have stayed twice in the Teralta apartments and enjoyed both holidays. Althought the hotel is at the top of a steep hill it was a pleasant walk into the Old town and taxis are cheap to get back. The room was large with a lounge/ kitchen area and seperate bedroom with a safe. It was spotless and had a well stocked kitchen. The room was well maintained and had beautiful views over the mountains. The staff were all friendly and great with kids if you have any. The restaurant had a limited but adequate menu and breakfast was good value to save cooking. We were there in October 2003 and 2004 and would recomend it to anyone.

Although we only stayed for 1 week, the bedding and towels where changed twice. The apartments have everything you need including hairdryer, indoor heated pool, entertainment every evening except sunday.
The staff are very friendly and all speak english.
The accommodation is situated at the top of quite a steep hill, but only costs around 5 euros to get from the centre of benidorm back.
Would recommend this accommodation.

We have just returned from our stay at terralta apartments (26/11/05) - cannot really comment on the pool because we didn't go in it because the weather wasn't good but looked like a beautiful pool. Staff were very helpfull from the start to finish they helped you all they could. Rooms were spotless - only one complaint about the rooms was the pillows were like sleeping on a concrete slab. Terralta is a far way out but didn't bother us as we had family and buisness consultants with cars. So just like to say to all the terralta staff thank you for a nice stay at terralta you made our holiday perfect.

A single mum's haven
18 October 2005
This being my first venture abroad alone with my 9 year old son, I was very apprehesive about many things, the flights, the transfers, the standard of accomodation, the thought of having to single handedly amuse a young child 24/7! However, Terralta was a haven for me. The entire complex is spotlessly clean & the pool area is cleared & swept every night. The food is great & good value, with a full cooked breakfast at about £2. The staff are ever helpful & their facilities excellent. They have their own, on site, (reasonably priced) shop, cash machine, they cash travellers cheques, can issue you with discounted tickets for attractions, book whatever you want, whenever you want 24 hours a day! There were plenty of activities for kids, so that meant that I was able to lie back & relax too. With Terralta being off the beaten track, you have a bit of an uphill walk from the Old Town, but as I sit at a desk all day, I enjoyed the exercise, however the bus is only 90c & stops right outside the door if you'd prefer. We met some great folk out there & will catch up with them back home. I really couldn't fault it & would highly recommend it to any family party, especially if you only want to sample Benidorm's loud nightlife & not have to endure it! Terralta is in a quiet & peaceful residential area.

Our group covered most age groups, Adults a child and oap's! and we all found the Terralta ideal. the Apartments were really nice, clean and the air con was great!! The staff were friendly and helpful especially the reception. We purchased all of our outing tickets from there, you get discount. The Terranatura (zoo) is the latest attraction, none of the staff spoke English so ordering food was not much fun, we ate at the south American diner, my poor Dad was very poorly after! The animals looked well but their enclosures were very small, which I found kinda sad. We found lots to do in both the old and new town, You can walk into old town at a steady pace under 20mins,we took the short cut through a small wooded area (left out of Terralta + 1st left) to avoid main roads and traffic, its not so steep coming back up through the woods either. The Bus stop is directly across from apartments and runs every 60mins where ever we went it was only 0.90cent per passenger. There wasn't much in the way of evening entertainment at the Apartments, but we did enjoy a few evenings. We ate out most nights and would highly recommend "Pauls Diner" for really good home cooked food, last stop on bus! most afternoons we spent around the pool, the only floats allowed in the pool are childrens swimming aids, the kids loved the pool - its huge not too deep and very clean. There is also a dishy lifegaurd keeping watch all day. On the whole we had an excellent two weeks and would stay there again if holidaying in Benidorm.

The Terralta is a well located, clean and freindly hotel. The rooms are well equipped with all the essentials including the fantastic free Air Conditioning!!! Microwave came in handy as wel... The location is a little out of town up a small incline but only 4 Euro's to the main old town resort. 5 Euro's to New town. If your looking for a lively spot then don't go here - but if you want the choice to either be lively or not then this is the place for you. Huge outdoor pool which you can stand up in, manned by a lovelly lifeguard who likes to get wet a little also!!! All in all the resort is great but Benidorm is HUGE!!! There is no way that a week is long enough. But booking through Aplharoom we went for 9 nights and it cost less then a weeks package holiday! Go to Terralta and visit Terra Mittica (purchase tickets from reception for 10 Euro's off) jump in a taxi (10 Euro) or walk to the bus stop (10 mins) and cost 1.80 Euro's. Enjoy, and above all RELAX !!!

Terralta- amazing
30 April 2005
I stayed at terralta appartments,(february 2004 and january 2005) the weather was good all the week, and the service and quality of the hotel was second to none. I am fifteen years old, and found there was plenty to do and entertain the family. The swimming pools (indoor was heated) were clean and tidy, the staff were very welcoming, helping you with any problems, and the rooms were spotless, the maid came in three times in the week we stayed there, and kept out room to a very high standard. The restaurant was great and the waiters were very kind! Overall a fantastic holiday,a mini-mart in the hotel, two swimming pool, a games and entertainment room, and not too far a walk from the local markets and shops. A very lovely holiday, definately for all ages, i will certainly be going again!
