04 February 2008
hi me and 3 friends stayed at the tara towers hotel in Dublin, i was pleasantly suprised by the location, service, and quality the hotel offered the view was stunning and service by rail and bus were excellent, the food was good and breakfast was enough to susyain even the most adventurous and energetic traveller for most of the day, i would most definitely stay at the tara towers again, the whole trip went without a hitch and would certainly use alpha rooms again!!

December 1st Stay
04 December 2007
My friend and I have just returned from a weekend in Dublin and stayed at the Tara Towers for a night. The staff were very helpful and courteous, although a couple struggled with the English language this wasn't a problem! The room we had was clean and comfortable over looking the sea. All public areas were clean and tastefully decorated. The Christmas trees were beautiful and the warming log fire in reception was very inviting. Tara Towers is about 15 minutes from Dubin Centre but taxis are available at approx. 14 euros and there are buses which we also used right outside the hotel which are obviously less expensive! The breakfast was excellant, hot and freshly prepared. Everything you would want. A very good value for money hotel all in all.

26 October 2007
Tara tower's was a friendly, clean and welcoming hotel it's only downside was the location a bit further out of dublin centre than we anticipated, but buses stop right out side. Breakfast was good.

Tip Top Tara
24 October 2007
We were a group of five singles who thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Tara. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast, helpful staff, easy transport to Dublin. Not all of us were ucky enough to get views of Dublin Bay but those who did were extra pleased. Only critcism is the staying power of smoke in some of the non-smoking rooms. The Plough pub just down the road is recommended for drinks and food - if you tire of the Taras own selection. Highly recommended, reasonably priced and if you want a big room, ask for 201!!!(No View)

Fantastic Hotel - Fully Recommend
16 October 2007
Just returned from this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was our 1st wedding anniversary so was looking for a nice base to explore Dublin. It was great waking each morning overlooking the Dublin Bay area and watching the boats sail in and out. Transport in Dublin is superb and the local buses which run every 5-10 mins stop right outside. If your looking for a nice, friendly hotel and not worried about travelling 15 mins into the city centre then this is the place for you.

Lovely stay
01 October 2007
Just returned from a second stay at the Tara Towers and once again had a lovely time. As it was for my forthieth my husband had asked for special arrangements to be made and all were fulfilled. The hotel is about 20 mins from city centre but the bus stop is right outside the hotel. The dart sytem is just over ther road, very reguar system. We have caught to dart to Bray and in the opposite direction to howth, both lovely places. For a good meal and entertainment go to the Arlington hotel, the afternoon show starts at 5 and is great if you have children with you. The whole trip was great- leave plenty of room for the food as the portions are massive!

Last minute booking
04 August 2007
We booked two rooms at the last minute - so wondered what type of room we would end up with. We were very pleased with the standard and cleanliness of the rooms. We couldn't fault it. The staff were very helpful and the meals good value for money. Public transport just outside the door and running on time. Would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We have just returned from a enjoyable stay at the Tara Towers. The staff were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms are comfortable, clean and of a good standard.Meals in the restaurant and bar were excellent and value for money.Transport links to Dublin (Bus) and to the coast ( Dart ) are very good.
The hotel was an excellent choice and we would stay again.

Review of Tara Towers
16 June 2007
Room lovely, bed v v comfy, food fab, staff courteous & efficient. Only 1 teeny weeny niggle. The Tara Towers own web site states that the DART stops 'across the road'. We chose the hotel because my husband has chronic back pain and can't walk very far, so the long walk to the DART stop wasn't very welcome. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Dublin, very peaceful.

Review of 'TARA TOWERS'
22 January 2007
We have just come back from a fantastic short break in Dublin and would highly recommend the Tara Towers. Although the hotel is a fair distance from the actual centre(the bus stop is right outside the hotel though)it is well worth a stay. The rooms are lovely, the food is excellent, we had buffet style breakfast which had a full choice. We also sampled a bar meal which was great value for money. The hotel has great sea views and the photos on the net do not do it justice. Dublin is expensive like most cities- just a tip - we went in January and its freezing so make sure you wrap up - for great food and good Irish singing and dancing visit the Arlington Hotel bar, great for all the family

Review of 'TARA TOWERS'
17 October 2006
Nice, comfortable hotel on the outskirts of Dublin which was easily accessible by bus (from outside the hotel)or nearby train service, as were the coastal towns of Dun Laoghaire and Bray.
The staff are efficient and helpful. Restaurant is good with food of a reasonable standard.
Have stayed at 4 star hotels which are worse than this.

Review of 'TARA TOWERS'
31 December 2005
We found the Tara Towers to be a very comfortable and reasonably priced hotel. Although on the outskirts of Dublin, there were regular buses from just outside the hotel into the city, and the area peaceful and enjoyed our view of Dublin Bay. Just over the road, you could catch the Dart (rail system) to easily reach and explore other places like pretty Bray town, so no car was need for our entire stay. We also enjoyed the bar and restaurant provided by the hotel. Would definitely stay there again.
