This purpose built complex, opened in November 2003, is designed to provide a spacious, comfortable, yet affordable nights stay. Sunset Motel is set in tranquil farmland, just a short stroll from the Fox Glacier village. All units have full glass frontages to allow for unimpeded views of Mount Cook (New Zealands highest peak) and the rugged Southern Alps. A courtyard to the front of each unit with outdoor table and chairs provide views of the Southern Alps and the magnificent sunsets we are renowned for.
