great but we were lucky 29 December 2007 myself n my friend stayed here in july for a week... we booked through alpha rooms and i have to say i was thrilled with it! ive been going to santa ponsa since i was a kid n i have never stayed in the sun beach coz of the bad reputation that it had but i have to say we were so lucky with our apartment. it was right up the back of the complex, we had our own garden type thing, it was great. friends of us arrived he day after us booked through a travel agents and their apartment was at the front was dingy looking, had broken furniture... the receptionist was a bit smart with us whenever we asked questions n wasnt very helpful at all but our accommodation was great...again it is a hotel for the young n lively as opposed to a relaxing spot..... ali, dublin Group of Young Friends/Couples

Brilliant Holiday!! 10 December 2007 These apartments are only suitable for the young and wild!! We had a great holiday these apartments are in the middle of everything! Pleasantly suprised 02 August 2007 Am just back from the sun beach, we had a great time. We had stayed in the verdemar for 2 weeks before arriving in the sun beach. I had heard good n bad reviews about it but i have to say i was pleasantly suprised. We had a room up on the 7th Floor and it was great, we had our own terrace/garden with its own gate and all. Although we were in the centre of all the action we didn't hear too much noise at all as we were towards the back of the complex. Cleaners were fine, they came in a few times during our stay but if we needed anything extra like toilet paper or clean towels they were happy to oblige! As I said we were really happy with our apartment, my boyfriend was staying in the sun beach too with his friends and they weren't as lucky as their apartment was right on the main street so they got all the noise. sunbeach apartments 20 June 2007 i know how u feel judith i was there for 2 weeks from 1st of june 2007 with kids 12 and 13 very noisy every night i heard the smashing glass that night it can be scary for young kids i stayed at the deya next door last year it was not as noisy as that good waterpark and must go to pirate show it is amazing and also the square if anyone has young kids i have been 2 years in a row not be back for a long time eleanor caddis, kilmarnock scotland Family with teenagers 12+
not for families 07 June 2007 First time to Santa Ponsa, excellent resort but holiday spoiled by people at apartments. All young Irish (no probs usually) but this time they were all fighting to the extent that windows were smashed in apts at 4.30am! When you have young children with you who like to swim but could not go to the pool coz the language from these people was terrible then once pubs shut you were awake wondering what was going to happen next, constant language, fighten and just no regards for other people on their hols. spoil a really nice place. if you are a family think twice while we were there for 1 week only 15 families asked to move to other rooms away from the unacceptable noise. judith, just outside newcastle Family with Children 11 and Under
Fab Holiday 29 May 2007 This is my 2nd year in a row at these apartments, they are great, very lively and full of young irish and scottish folk up for a laugh, JACKIE at the pool bar is fab, very friendly and helpful and always up for a banter, so look out for her. Review of 'SUN BEACH' 05 September 2006 Well im 16 n i went with my mum and dad to the sunbeach apartments, and i would say its mailnly an irish resort, but my god i had a good time you are surronded by everythink and the people are great i would say its for all ages and i had a fantastik holiday there i wish i didnt have to come home but it all has to come to an end doesnt it i would like to thank the sunbeach for an amazing holiday would deffanatly go back there miss it loads x and we went in the high season and yah its very noisey but such a larf i enjoyed every miniut of it and so did me mum and dad terri-ann gant, kent england Family with teenagers 12+

Review of 'SUN BEACH' 04 May 2006 The hotel was in a brilliant location - not far from the beach and surrounded by excellent resturants and Bars. Santa Ponsa is really clean and the scenery is amazing. For a lively entertainment bar I would definitely recommend Strings - full of fun. Daniels Corner is also an excellent bar where the staff are really helpful, friendly and fun. I went the first week in May and the weather was fantastic - I enjoyed my stay so much I am coming back in two months time - absolutely excellent. Pleasantly suprised

Am just back from the sun beach, we had a great time. We had stayed in the verdemar for 2 weeks before arriving in the sun beach. First time to Santa Ponsa, excellent resort but holiday spoiled by people at apartments. All young Irish (no probs usually) but this time they were all fighting to the extent that windows were smashed in apts at 4.30am! When you have young children with you who like to swim but could not go to the pool coz the language from these people was terrible then once pubs shut you were awake wondering what was going to happen next, constant language, fighten and just no regards for other people on their hols. spoil a really nice place. if you are a family think twice while we were there for 1 week only 15 families asked to move to other rooms away from the unacceptable noise.
