Review of 'Stratosphere Tower'

Had a great time in Vagas the hotel was fab for our needs, went with Mum, sisters and kids (9 altogether). Kids enjoyed the pool lots. Whilst we went around the shops. We enjoyed the show in the hotel along with the casinos. The staff were helpful - but didn't find the cab service a good experience. Did the helicoptor trip- gd fun. Maybe spent too much time in the hotel. Def want to go back to Viva Vagas. "Luckys" good for breakfast. Included kids views- they loved it.

Review of 'STRATOSPHERE TOWER'
05 October 2005
I stayed here with my girlfriend on my first visit to Vegas. It is the very most northern hotel/casino on the strip, so it is a pretty longish way from the airport and all of the more famous casinos are a a pretty decent hike away if you are walking. The hotel felt like pretty much any other in vegas..crazy carpets and free shampoo galore, but it did seem a little more run-down than others I have stayed in. The worst thing was that our room was positioned right behind the Stratosphere Tower so there was no view whatsoever.. just a big concrete pillar! Overall it was an OK place to stay for the price...but there is a lot more fun to be had at the more southerly strip hotels. I wholly recommend the tower to everyone though.. absolutely the best view in Vegas (you *must* go when it's dark!) and the rides are utterly insane and enormous fun!

I stayed at the Stratosphere with my cousin a couple years ago. It was wonderful. We loved the restaurants, the entertainment, the gambling, the shops, the location. We loved going up to the top and looking out over The Strip. We loved the Superstars show, it was excellent. The free Viva Las Vegas show was quite good too, and you get to go for free when you stay at the hotel. The buffet was wonderful for breakfast and dinner. The bands in the lounges were really good. We loved the shops because they weren't outrageously expensive and the water massage machine was super relaxing. We loved the omelets in the little diner on the floor where the shops are located, and they were really reasonable. We didn't go on any of the rides, but it looked like everyone was having a blast on them. You never have to leave the place if you don't want to. It has everything. Oh yeah, the pool is beautiful, if it's not too hot to enjoy it. It's up on about the 8th floor.

THE STRATOSPHERE IS AT THE END OF THE STRIP SO TAKE SOME GOOD WALKING SHOES. THE BUFFET RESTAURANT IS ONE OF THE BEST ON THE STRIP.THE ROOMS ARE VERY BIG WITH 2 DOUBLE BEDS. A RIDE TO THE TOP OF THE TOWER IS A MUST- IF YOU GO UP JUST BEFORE DUSK YOU SEE THE STRIP IN DAYLIGHT THEN IN THE DARK, ITS A STUNNING VIEW. THERE ARE 3 RIDES ON THE TOP OF THE TOWER IF YOU ARE BRAVE ENOUGH. BUSES RUN UP THE STRIP AND TO DOWNTOWN FREEMONT STREET FROM OUTSIDE THE CASINO - ALSO, JUST OPENED, A MONORAIL WHICH STOPS ACROSS THE ROAD AT THE SAHARA HOTEL.

this is a nice hotel located at the south end of the strip which is a bit of a walk away from the main area but not to bad. The rooms are spacious and clean and there is a lovelly revolving restaurant at the top with great views of the city and beyond. I would have no hesitations of staying here as I thought it was great value for money.
