The St Helen's Hotel is in an ideal location for a retreat into the countryside being one of Ireland’s most popular resorts. The south-east coastline is famed for its landscape, harbours, coves and hidden beaches – a great area to explore. The hotel opened its doors in 1969 and now offers 100 guest rooms each comprising en-suite, TV, hair dryer, trouser press, tea and coffee facilities and iron on request. There are two rooms designed to accommodate disabled guests available on request. The hotel offers a restaurant and bar where guests can enjoy drinks, snacks, light meals or a full menu. There is evening and weekend entertainment, the opportunity of discounted golf course usage and the hotel’s leisure centre provides an indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and free children’s swimming lessons in July and August. The hotel has a conference centre with a capacity for 200 delegates and can offer exclusive use of the hotel on request. The hotel also provides room service and a children’s playground, restaurant and play centre (only during school holidays and weekends).
