What our customers say
The Hotel is excellently placed immediately above the main mountain access point for Soldeu.
Rooms are spacious and all have private bathroom facilities. If possible ask for a room with a mountain view, as these have balconies for basking in sunshine should the weather allow.
The food is of a very high standard, and there is lots of it too, so don't think you will be losing weight on a holiday here.
The Bar and Lounge area has a panoramic view of the mountain and down the valley towards El Tarter.
Ski lockers are provided free to hotel residents, and there is a (planned 2007) under cover link between all hotels in the Sport chain (the Village, Hermitage and Sport hotel) and the new Calbo Health Spa.
Due to it's location immediately above the gondola station some of the rooms in that area can be rather noisy from early in the morning as the ski school and mountain restuarant staff are taken to work.
Most of the hotel rooms are built around two large covered light wells, and as such noise from the bar area can carry of an evening and disturb you if you are trying to get children to sleep. If you are planning on staying here with children ask for one of the rooms in the section of the hotel that is below the restuarant area, as these rooms are a lot quieter to stay in.
