We have been to the Solfeiras several times and this - in April 2008 was no different to before - the hotel is a 3* standard and staff are very very pleasant - lovely bar and grounds with huge swimmin pool (not heated!). Close to the town but quiet - a car is really needed as the supermarket is approx 1.5 km away. Cooking facilities are basic but manageable and the rooms are always very clean - a little gem even though its a little frayed at the edges!
