Second time at the Timor Sol, and once again had a brilliant holiday. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms athough a little basic and dated are cleaned every two days. I found the kids club and the entertainers fabulous. I have a 6 yr old and barely saw him except for food!!!! All i can say is that my son and I cryed when we were leaving, I will defo be going back next year.

Myself and my husband have just got back from Sol Timor Apt. We went there for week. After reading the reviews we were really surprised because it was just great - apartments big, very nice and clean. just few meters from the beach and promenad. food cheap and very good. place bit loud but as we are 25 we didn't mind, great place for hen's nites/ stags - I'd say great for young people. We hired a car (Opel Corsa for 5 days for 120.00euro) - very cheap. I would definately go back again.

These apartments have everything you will need for a great holiday, we have just returned 28th April 2008 after being a bit worried after reading some of the reviews we were really surprised at the excellent facilities and location of sol timor, literally 3 steps to beautiful beach and 5 minutes walk to Benalmedena marina with great bars and restaurants. We spoke to people who have been returning here for 12 years in a row so would think that says it all. I cant wait to return in September and walk along the wonderful prom or sit and watch the world go by. PS pop to Rumours Bar Ian and Elaine are lovely

just got back from my hen weekend at the Sol Timor and it was enjoyed by us all very much. 23 of us stayed here and when checking in they were fast and very efficient. all staff were friendley and the apartments were very spacious and very clean. The weather was rubbish all weekend, but the hotel is situated a stride away from the marina and the 24 hour square which made it great for us lot!! The food was good, well, anything is good when you are hungover, but there was plently of choice. One thing to be careful of, our group was targetted twice by bag snatches, even though they didn`t succeed in doing so, they tried to take one of our handbags when we were sitting in the foyer......a little thing to be wary about, but all in all, a nice place

Just got back from staying at the Sol Timor Apartments. Myself and my friend went for a weekend away and it was brilliant. The Hotel was clean they had excellent staff, they were very helpful and friendly. The room was supprisingly spacious and very clean, great little kitchen with full sized fridge, which for a girly weekend is essential! Great facilities Tennis and basket ball line dancing lol....The swimming pool was lovely and it was great to see they like children there with lots to keep them busy (I'll definately be taking my family there). Also the hotel is idealy set right on the promenade with everything in walking distance. My only complaint with the hotel was the food, I found it to be rather unsightly as greasy and generally unappertising, but I'm no fan of buffet service anyway, it wasn't a problem as there were lots of reasonably priced places close by. All in all the hotel was fab and I'g go there over and over again. Thanks for a great break.

The apartment had a sea view but it was not marvelous. The room was furnished with 1970's leftovers and the windows rattled all night in the onshore wind. However, the breakfast was unbelievably good and entertainment was fair considering the price.

Stayed for 5 days mid January (2007). Rooms were very clean, staff very helpful. Beautiful view right across the beach. Would imagine that it could be very noisy during the high season but as we never travel during this time it would not apply to us. Very well situated for the marina at Benalmadena (5 minute walk) and easy access to buses into Torremolinos. Have booked this up again for March.

Just back from Sol Timor Apartments had a great 6 days there. Apartment very clean, rooms spacious, balcony great. Had views over looking the pool, marina and beach front. Weather was great hot enough to sunbathe. Would definately go back again happy memories I will treasure.

Just come back from Torremolinos, staying at Sol Timor, what a wonderful place. very pleased with apartments, rooms spacious and very clean, the one apt had been refurbished, but nothing wrong with other one, still very clean plenty of room also storage. sea views, walk straight out onto promenade. good english b/fast for 4.50 euro's at Paul's bar (opposite hotel), plenty of places to eat especially on the mariner fab food. staff very helpful and pleasant always cleaning. will definately go back again and again. very good value for money!!!!

Hotel Location 1 min from beach, hotel staff friendly & speak english 5 mins you are in Benalmadena or a nice beach front walk to the Heart of Torremonilas spoilt for choice to find anywere to eat or drink ! one thing more to those people who want a quiet holiday don't go away in July/August !

Hi!,
I'd have to recommend the Sol Timor Apts for anyone with a family. We have stayed there from when the kids were under 10 years old up to now when they are 18 and 19. The hotel organizes soccer and water polo that the older kids can take part in (plus adults) as well as the Mini Club for younger kids plus darts and archery and shooting for older kids and adults. This occurs (one activity) morning and evening. Location-wise its a lovely 35 mins stroll into the centre of Torremolinos and, if you're too tired to walk back, you can take the train back and its a 5 min walk downhill to the hotel. Even though it doesn't have air conditioning, fans are rentable from the front desk at a nominal charge. I'd highly recommend.

I would recommend these apartments to anyone travelling to Costa Del Sol. The address in Torremolinos, but they are actually on the Benalmadena/Torremonilas Border, closer to Benalmadena. The Fab Marina is only 5 min walk away, The beach is also on the doorstep. 24 hour square is only a short journey away. All in all, the position of these apartments is excellent. The decor is somewhat dated but they are very clean and tidy and there is room service every day. There is a lovely pool, pool bar and the breakfast buffet is marvelous and a steal at only 6 Euro. You do however have to hire a few things for the room like a kettle, but if like us you dont mind boiling in a pot, you will save a few bob.

if you want a quiet holiday do not go here - its very noisy day and night with lots of bars and clubs around, there are lots of places to eat and drink and prices good - hotel clean, beds very uncomfortable but good base to get out and about - lots to do for children swimming pool bar kids club evening entertainment good - did not eat there so cannot say what food was like reception staff friendly and knowledgeable our room overlooked the sea which was lovely there is no air conditioning but you can hire a fan not sure what price |
