The Sol Tenerife is located in the centre of the Playa de las Americas resort, facing the sea and offering a beautiful view of the nearby beach. Surrounding attractions include the Aguilas del Teide Ecological Park and the Teide National Park, while golf enthusiasts will find three courses nearby. Dining options include a buffet-style restaurant, a snack bar and a pool bar, while the Jazz Club is a great way to end an evening. The outdoor complex features three swimming pools with extensive terraced areas and a tennis court. Guestrooms within the Sol Tenerife are spacious and have sea views, as well as all the modern amenities one would need for a comfortable stay. PLEASE NOTE: From April 2007 the city council will be carrying out road works close to the hotel. This means that road-side access to the property may be difficult. During this time visitors are advised to use the sea-front paths.

Everything was grand-staff very friendly. My only grip is the morning of our departure the cleaning lady opened the door and walked in and out again - no apology. I felt like complaining but did not. I am 55 in January its mainly 65 plus - its very wheelchair friendly. Nice entertainment at night. Would go there again. Lots of Germans. Liz Ireland.
