The Sol Parc is a spacious apartment complex set in a wonderful pine forest right beside the dunes of the beach of Son Saura, just 400 metres away from the bay and 24 kilometres away from Mahón. The centre of Son Parc has numerous shops, small bars and restaurants, all within metres of the hotel. All apartments/studios have everything necessary for a comfortable stay. In the spacious grounds, guests will find two freshwater swimming pools with separate children's pool, as well as a furnished sun terrace and a snack bar to enjoy. Sports enthusiasts may enjoy a game of snooker and mini golf for an additional fee, as well as table tennis, basketball and beach volleyball at no extra cost. Guests can also enjoy the other facilities at the complex, including a lobby with a 24 hour reception, a café, a kiosk, a small supermarket, a shop, a bar with a TV corner and two air-conditioned restaurants (one of which is à la carte). There is also a kids' club (ages 4-14), a games room and a playground available for children. A car park and a garage are available for guests' use.

I stayed with my Mother (80) my daughter and 1 year old grand-daughter for 10 days in September 2007. Although the apartment was basic it had everything we need, and we were pleased with the facilities on site and in the apartment. We stayed on half board, and although the food was basic it was acceptable and we had no complaints. A few people on site had mobility problems and found Son Parc slightly restricting for less mobile clients. We hired a car for the 10 days and found this very useful as you need to go into Mahon to get anywhere else on the Island. I would recommend this complex - the staff are great and very helpful.
