could not find anywhere then I came across this place did not know what to expect but was pleasantly suprised can't believe how much value for money it was there was even a bar and bed and breakfast included definitly going back there if we have any more gigs staff was so nice rooms even had own shower and toilet and beds were so comfortable would definitly recomend it to any one thinking of satying there

we booked the hostel to watch the tattoo. it was alot better than we expected, staff exceptional to say the least, food brilliant, and location was so conveniant, right in the old city centre, would easily recommend to friends. 6 out of 5 ******

When we booked a hostel, we envisaged a basic facility but we were very pleasantly surprised by the facility and the standard of accomodation. well worth it. Very clean with many more amenities than we expected.

Smart city hostel was a fantastic place to stay with a brilliant location right in the centre of Edinburgh. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean and the food was great value. Excellent 5*
