Basic but acceptable

29 April 2008
The decor in the rooms is very tired, there is quite a lot of wear and tear and the inevitable incidental damage. Having said this, the rooms are large by London standards and there is free parking on-site, and in the local area. Given the proximity to the tube and central London, it is a good cheap stopover.

Sleeping Beauty Motel

27 March 2008
This motel was the perfect answer to finding an affordable nights stay with decent facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpfull and the room itself was extremely clean with spotless linnen and towels. The location of the motel was near public transport stops and was reasonably quiet for London. My overall impression of this motel was that it is an excellent place for anyone on a budget and I will personally be returning on my next visit to the capital.

Sleeping Beauty- Cheap and Cheerful

27 November 2007
After reading reviws on other websites we could be forgiven for being a little dubious about our choice of motel, however, acknowledging that it was the lower end of the hotel spectrum we were not expecting The Ritz. Although a little wrough around the edges e.g. a few broken floor tiles in the en-suite, it was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly although we were given directions to the wrong floor for our room. The hotel was fully booked the weekend we were there but didn't notice other guests. A ten minute walk to Walthamstow Central Station. Quiet, value for money and a two minute walk to KFC, what more could you want from a weekend in Leyton!

A Sleeping Beauty?

08 October 2007
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Sleeping beauty for 3 nights in October 2007. Our room was clean, and the location was good. However, the staff were miserable and probally wouldn't know a smile if it hit them in the face. The emergency doors are left open all day, so anyone or anything could walk into the hotel. There was also a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the corridors. All in all, not a bad stay considering the price, but the staff need to sharpen up!!!!
