A Very Good Choice
21 April 2008
My friends & I travelled to Malaga for the first time on April 17th 2008.
As we stepped outside Malaga Airport the number 19 bus was waiting, it cost just €1 per person into the city centre the driver was very helpful and to our delight the bus stopped right outside the hotel.
The reception staff at the hotel were most courtious and helpful. We had no problem booking in.
Our room was spacious. The en-suite was also very spacious and had a built -in hairdryer. There was also a good supply of shampoo, bath gel, conditioner, soap, shower cap, comb, shoe horn, dental kit, shaving kit, and tissues in fact all you would ever need in a bathroom.
There was a safe in the room also with easy to follow instructions.
The only thing that was not available was tea making facilities. But fortunately we had brought a travel kettle and teabags etc.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Excellent hotel
11 February 2008
Excellent hotel, very modern, spacious rooms and good bathroom. Best ever breakfast with great variety. Next to supermarket and very near the train station. 5 minutes walk to shopping centre where there are lots of restaurants. A little further you will find Cortes Ingles and the port. Easy ride to airport. Would definately stay here again.

Visited this hotel for the first time with my 2 children. Found it to be an excellent hotel. The room was delightful, spacious and clean, lovely bathroom with superb toiletries. First-rate breakfast with excellent choices. Courteous and respectful staff. Close to the beach, opposite the supermarket and easy walking distance to the Mall. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and should I vist Malaga again will almost certainly stay at this first class hotel.

Excellent hotel in all repects. No problem with a 2am check-in, room clean and spacious with excellent toiletries. Breakfast very good indeed with superb choice. All staff very polite, helpful and professional. Have stayed here now 3 times en route to other parts of Spain. Would recommend it highly. Also very convenient for Europcar car hire at the main station. Just a short walk away.

Review of 'SILKEN PUERTA MALAGA'

Hotel is on a bus route and within easy walking distance of Malaga Central station. Well located opposite Renfe Station and a supermarket. Park and Seafront nearby. Hotel lobby bar etc good. Rooms spacious, very well designed with excellent facilities. Complimentary internet, safe and toiletries. However, my sister and i had separate rooms and in her first room toilet was not flushing well, sink not emptying properly, Having unpacked she had to move to a new room. In all 3 rooms the safe door was shut and needed maintenance man to open. Lock on my sisters room was disabled before check out time. Receptionist was unable to provide information on procession of Kings an annual event. All very irritating and a waste of precious time on a 2 night stay. Such a pity as the Hotel rooms and facilities are excellent. Building works at present opposite Hotel. No idea how disruptive this would be, as our stay was over weekend.

This hotel is stylish and very good value for money. The rooms are clean with good facilities. The breakfast is of high quality and offers a huge choice. The staff are very helpful and with a speedy check in and check out service. The hotel is located across the road from the RENFE station which provides a regular train service to the airport in less than fifteen minutes. The hotel is located a short pleasant walk from the city centre. The bar is very reasonably priced and well stocked. As an added extra - there is a lovely jacuzzi on the top floor and a solarium with loungers for pure relaxation. Couldn't ask for more. And for those who are on even more of a budget, there is a great supermarket across the courtyard to pick up food and drinks.

Stunning hotel, rooms large and spacious and huge beds. Very modern clean lines throughout the hotel. Room service was excellent, very prompt and great value food. Next door to the hotel is a large modern supermarket where you can purchase snacks and drinks etc. The hotel is very conveniently located across the road, from Malaga Centro railway station, easy to get to from the airport. Just walk out of the airport across the bridge to the railway, it couldn't be simpler. You can also, by using another entrance go back to the station and from there have a very comfortable 2 1/2 hour train ride through to Seville, where we also stayed at a Silken hotel (Al-Andalus Palace) Highly recommend both hotels.
