End of season at Sempati

The staff at Sempati are very hospitable and friendly, they really can't do enough for you. In our opinion the standard of the hotel is a good 3*. Breakfast was very good with fresh eggs every day, a good selection of bread, cheese and cereals, I guess you could say in typical continental style. When the new road opens, the time to and from Kyrenia, will be halved, making the location much more desirable. Unfortunately, our holiday coincided with a few storms, so only got to use the poolside a couple of times but was very well maintained even out of season. Views were very good from our room, (which had two and a half balconies, so woke up to the sun most mornings), which overlooked the pool and sea at the back and mountains from the front. Overall, good value for money.

In November it is not appropriate to comment on the the outdoor facilities since the weather does not make the pool welcoming. But it looked nice! Our room was very comfortable, with 3 balconies which caught the sun in the mornings. The hotel cat joined us for a few nights and he was a very friendly visitor. Breakfast was on par with the standard of hotel. We only ate once in the evening as the meal was poor. The soup was ok, but the meat was tough. We weren't concerned with the beach, which was accessed through another hotel. Not sure if payment is required. Nice view of the hills behind. I would say that overall it comes up to the standard to be expected for the price.
