We have stayed here a couple of times before and again the hotel didn't let us down. All quite basic but as it is relatively inexpensive you can't expect to be overindulged. Everywhere is clean and the bonus for us is that there are a number of Engish Channels on the TV (Sad, I know). However, be warned, the Hotel is used by 'Mundo Senior' - the Spanish Equivalent of Saga Holidays - and my goodness they can be loud - but all very friendly - and insist on talking to you even if you have attempted a 'no comprende' - all very amusing. The one complaint we have is that there are a limited number of parasols around the pool area.
The hotel is in a nice location in the Playa Bastian Area and if you don't want to go into the centre of CT there are a few bars, restaurants and small supermarkets to keep you going. A mention here for Steptoes Bar ('British' but not in your face - Stacey the manageress - always smiling), Casa Luis (spanish cafe - used by locals - open during the day only) and Sausalitos Restauarnt (Italian - relatively inexpensive). We will definately be returning.
