This hotel has recently been refurbished. The communal areas are gorgeous, very boutique and the bedrooms are 1/2 done. The bathrooms have been left but I understand that they are a work in progress. Ideal hotel for couples/adults as there are no children’s facilities.
We stayed on an All Inclusive (AI) basis that weirdly did not include lunch. I would still recommend AI from a value for money point of you but it means the service you will receive will be poor in comparison to that received by fully paying customers. The hotel focuses it's service on non-AI customers....I'm guessing the staff are hoping for more tips but it is annoying to see. Even the coffee is served differently if you are AI!!??!! The AI House Wine is YUK whereas the non AI House Wine is very nice.
The evening buffet food was really good with a good selection. Could do with some evening entertainment, perhaps a piano player in the bar.
Overall a very nice hotel but only once you get past the poor service.
