SALOU PARK

12 June 2008
hi all stayed at this hotel 01/06/08 to 08/06/08 and enjoyed our stay . food was good and fresh always fish, meat, and very nice desserts . the hotel is in a good location no more than five mins walk from main street salou ,buses stop outside the hotel is a good bonus so when we went to portaventura for the day we came out the gate and hoped on the number no 1 bus (1.65 euro ) and you are dropped to the door beat that. rooms we had a double room booked but when we arrived it was on the ground floor so we asked for a differant room and we where giving to two choices sea view room 8 euro extra per night or a junior suite 20 euro extra per night so we picked the suite as we get two rooms and a large balcony and a sea view . evening enterainment was good drink was not badly priced smirnoff ice cost 3.50 euro all in all a good hotel ps do not us internet in hotel total total ripp off 6 euro an hour where as across the road from 1 euro an hour hope this review is of some help ?

Terrible

29 May 2008
Just back from Salou Park Hotel, not impressed!!! The rooms were very basic but clean and so was the pool but apart from that everything else was terrible. The staff were rude, the barman shut the bar early so him and his girlfriend could have a beer and a cigarette (and your not ment to smoke). Salou was very dirty. The food was horrible and cold. You also have to pay for everything cott, tv remote, a sea view (which you could not even see out of and a balcony) This hotel is not very child friendly and I would not return to the salou park hotel.

good hotel

05 November 2007
Just back from salou park hotel, over the halloween hols, the hotel is very clean and tidy, did not try the pool not warm enough, food was very good lots of fish meat pork and salod items and great deserts, a few minutes to beach and about 10 mins walk down hill to main part of town. The small train stops over the road and will take you around salou. All in all we had a nice break and would return to the salou park.

Salou Park Hotel

Very clean hotel and pool area, but pool area not very big for height of the season considering the size of the hotel although plenty of places in October. Food got a little repetitive but was always hot. The hotel is in a good position but would reccomend people to pay extra for sea view. Hotel staff pleasant and helpful.

Ths is not a 4* hotel. The hotel is in a good position. Pay the extra for a sea view- the bak view is not nice. The food is average nothing special. Rooms kept very clean but bar staff and reception staff not very friendly. unable to get a cup of coffee at 10.30pm. i would not go back.

The hotel was spotless clean, maid service every day, plenty of towels to go round for the three of us in the room. Bar staff very friendly and drinks were reasonably priced. The entertainment was fantastic for all ages. The only thing I could fault was there was no irons for hire so had to wear my clothes very creased. But still enjoyed it.

SALOU PARK HOTEL REVIEW

07 July 2007
We've just returned on 6th July 2007 after staying here for 10 days...nice and very clean hotel...maid service every day...we stayed half board and food was excellent..(no tummy bugs by us or kids)...we booked a room with a sea view at an extra cost which was worth every penny...beautifull, overlooking pool and sea...the hotel is a perfect location, a ten minute walk to centre and promenade, and five minutes to the beach...there is a bus stop right outside the hotel where the bus or the wee train takes you to Port Adventura (ten minutess)...taxi from Reus Airport to hotel was €29 (€27 going home)...the hotel is mixed lots of spanish and other europeans...a good entertainment programme within hotel if you like that sort of thing...we rarely stayed for this...also a kids club with spanish representatives (english speaking).
