I had stayed at The Russell 5 years ago with my sister and decided it would be an ideal choice with my new partner for a weekend Christmas shopping trip. Its locality is perfect for both tube and foot to visit the many shops and sites that London has to offer. We took up on the offer of an upgrade and were delighted with our room, On the sunday we took the London bus tour (which picks up outside the hotel) and walked back to the hotel that evening which was acheviable in 20 minutes. All in All a lovely hotel with friendly staff. We will definately return and would recommend it highly.
