Russell Court Hotel

We went on holiday to the Russell Court and expected the worst after reading the reviews on line. The hotel is being re-furbed and the general communal areas, stairs, restuarant, bar etc are all in need of urgent upgrading. It sets the wrong impression when approaching and entering the hotel. The room we had was recently re-furbed and was a pleasent surprise, (well done), but the rest of the hotel needs to catch up very quickly. Service at breakfast was a little low, and a smile would help, customer service needs to be addressed with the staff. Would i visit this hotel again, maybe not.
