Review of 'ROYAL GARDEN'

We were mightily impressed when we arrived at the hotel. The staff were friendly and not in the least bit pompous but we were let down by the room.
There were no coffee/tea facilities but we found out later that we could have asked for these but no-one told us this.
The carpet was patched and so was the bath! We moved the bed to look for a lost earring and found lots of coffee stains on the carpet and where the carpet patch had been cut from.
The food though was excellent and plentiful. The views from the room and the restaurant were over the gardens and it was within very easy walking distance from the tube station. Despite the patches I would be happy to re-visit this hotel.
