Review of 'ROYAL COSTA'
04 October 2006
The hotel was more isolated than we imagined, certainly not walking dstance of the centre, so the rail station was a godsend, providing cheap means to centre and other locations.Accomodation was adequate, room cleaned daily. The hotel seemed to be geared mainly for non-english,food, entertainment and maybe the reason very few English actually staying there. My partner enjoys a cigarette after her breakfast,so after finishing we would take our coffees outside to the pool area to have her cig. This seemed ok with most of the staff, however, the last morning a rude young waiter followed us out saying aggressively that this was against their regulations, and demanded we took the coffees back to the restaurant. We stated we would return the cups if this was the matter, this would not persuade him and he continued his rant, so we gave in.A nasty and unpleasnant memory to finish the holiday and fades the memories of the other staff who were pleasant.
