The Royal Albion Hotel was more than adequate for the price I managed to pay on Alpha Rooms. The room its self had 'out school' charm and although a little out dated, it was clean and well presented. Our bath tub actually had a jacuzi facillity which we made the best of!!!! The location is superb; directly opposite Brighton pier, across the road from the Sea Life Centre and five minutes from the Brighton Pavillion and Museum and Art Gallery. Restaurants and bars are also only a short walk away and the hotel bar itself is not bad, over looking the sea and with plenty of seating. My only complaint is that there is only one lift for all the guests which was slightly inconvenient. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay at the Albion Hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast served.
