The Roxburghe Hotel and Golf Course nestles privately amongst woodlands on the banks of the River Teviot. Owned by the Duke of Roxburghe, this sophisticated country house hotel has a homely atmosphere, with the public rooms, such as the Library and Drawing Room, still being presented and used in their traditional manner. Dining at the Roxburghe is a culinary experience. Using home grown produce of game from the Estate, salmon and freshly picked herbs from the garden, the renowned chef is particular to ensure everything is freshly made. All dishes are complimented by a fine choice of wines from the Duke’s cellar and an extensive whisky selection. Situated in the Courtyard, the team of specialists are vastly experienced in the art of beauty and pampering and use select products for hands, feet, face and body care. Guest rooms within the Roxburghe have been individually designed and two have open log fires. Each room is spacious and luxuriously furnished with traditional antiques and heavily draped fabrics.
