Review of 'ROUNDHOUSE'

We stayed at the Roundhouse to go to an event at the Opera House but were not very impressed with the general standard of the hotel.
The reception/lobby area is nice, the staff were friendly and helpful and advised us of good local restaurants we could eat at and also of where the decent bars were nearby.
The room however was very disappointing, the rooms just look as though they are in need of redecorating and are fairly shabby, there is no air conditioning in the rooms and in summer they are very stuffy.
The hotel is fine but don't expect much from it, if you just want somewhere to lay your head then it is ok, but I wouldn't recommend it for a weekend away.
