Overview
The Rocador and Rocador Playa Hotels are situated in the cosmopolitan area of Cala d'Or, directly on the beach. Just a few metres away is the resort centre, with its bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife. Guests will be allocated to either the Rocador or the Rocador Playa and all facilities are shared. My sister and I have just come back from a 5 day break staying at The Rocador. This is our third stay but have got to stay it was our worst. The first 3 days was really cold and the hotel was freezing and very uncomfortable. We asked could we pay for warm air from the air conditioning unit and was told this wasnt possible. The hotel did provide blankets for the bed but our bedroom was so cold it made getting a shower unbearable. It was like a winter at home with no central heating. Quests having breakfast of a morning where actually sat with coats on. I believe the hotel had only just reopened after the winter and I would suggest having being closed for at least 5 months they should certainly warm the place up especially if the weather is bad. Dont think we will go back again.
