We stayed for 5 nights and the hotel facilities and rooms were excellent. One particular staff was great every morning showing a real interest in our activities. They were able to book us into the INEC dance at the moon Irishdance show which was a bit of a smaller version of Riverdance & excellent value within walking distance. 2 disappointments - poor entetainment only 2 of the 5 nights and in a small bar where you could not see them properly and it finished at 11.00. 2nd despit the name Riverside yes is next to the river across a road and we had expected some gardens or grounds to sit in but there were none. weather was wet every day but thats Ireland for you. Nice and close to Muckcross House & gradens and the jauntoing cars (Horse & carts) are a great way when its not raining to get about - we went up to the waterfall & back for 30 euros for 2 and you get a bot of craic as they call it from the driver.
