Beautiful 'rincon'
12 August 2008
Very, very, very nice place: quite, clean, confortable hotel village. Rooms wiyh all conforts, good food. Near to the beach (...even if I've stayed in better ones...), a little bit difficult to reach Puerto Banus by foot beacuse the hotel is directly on a highway. Anyway it can be raccomend to everyone.

Hotel Review
03 July 2008
We arrived for a 4-day break to view a property so we weren't looking at entertainment etc. although there seemed to be lots of activities and evening entertainment.
We loved the 'Spanish village' layout and feel of the hotel - loads of space and greenery. The room was fine - lots of clean linen and towels and the balcony was a good size. The staff were wonderful and the food (half-board basis) was excellent and lots of it.
The whole complex is quite quaint, especially the beautiful little chapel in the Courtyard of Orange trees.
We thought the hotel, whilst not up to 5-star standard, was charming and we'd definitely use it again.

The hotel has many activities going on throughout the day including yoga, aerobics, 2 swimming pools, a ping pong table and a childrens play area, as well as gardens.
The apartment was for 2 people and was huge, it had a nice balcony (although the patio doors were old and took a while to lock), twin single beds, a telly, sofa and lots of space.
The negative points about the hotel are that our rooms were a long way from reception which resulted in a 10 min walk from the main road, the cleaners gave us dirty towels on 2 occasions and the patio doors needed jiggling about with before they would close.
The positive points are massive rooms, good location, good value, and a lovely varied breakfast with a massie array of foods from 8-10.30am.

Review of 'RIU RINCON ANDALUZ'
23 July 2006
The accomodations are nice and you don't feel like you are in your 'typical' package holiday hotel. The atmosphere is great as you feel like you are in a small Spanish town.
The downside is the pool space isn't too large so you do need to find your lounge early after breakfast. Can't complain about breakfast! The other downside is the location to a certain extent.. Puerto Banus and Marbella are near but you need to take a bus or taxi. We did this each night and it just adds up compared to walking to the restaurants and shops outside your door-- so, its a matter of what youa re looking for. The beach is rocky and okay-- the ones in Marbella are where you will find the Med blue waters.
The plus side: the staff. The staff was extremely hospitable and made the visit enjoyable.
We were on a holiday for sunshine and pure leisure-- we had that but would have liked being a bit more accessible to amenitities off the property. That said the hotel is just cute and was packed with Spaniards which we enjoyed.

Review of 'RIU RINCON ANDALUZ'
24 April 2006
We really enjoyed our stay in the Riu Roncon Andaluz. Despite being near a busy road, the hotel is very nicely laid out with two nice pools, lots of greenery and lovely rooms. The hotel is well located with a short stroll to the beach and a slightly longer walk to Puerto Banus. We paid for bed and breakfast but was not dissapointed to have missed out on the dinner option. There are far nicer places to eat nearby. We found the food rather bland and mass produced (both breakfast and dinner was buffet style). However, apart from the food, we defintely recommend the hotel and would not hesitate to go back.

Review of 'RIU RINCON ANDALUZ'
03 February 2006
Just returned from the Riu and the best thing I can say about it was that the food was fantastic. You are escorted to your table and then the wine waiter comes to see if you would like anything to drink. You then have a massive choice of food to choose from with a wide selection of everything. We paid just £30 for HB and as it was January we were upgraded to a room with a large balcony close to the pool and restaurant. I would not have liked to stay near the very busy noisy main road were I think we would have been if the hotel had been full. On our last day it rained heavily all day and there was really nothing to do at the hotel as all the activities were outside. No inside activities were available. Also the TV's only have one english channel which was disappointing. Overall if you can get this hotel cheap go for it.
