Lovely apartments

12 April 2008
I’ve just returned from a week’s stay at the Reveron Apartments in Los Cristianos. The whole place is very clean and the rooms are spacious and well maintained and have everything you’d need for a stay. We had a studio apartment and the only thing missing for us was a balcony. The room had a table and 2 stools but the stools weren’t as comfortable as sitting in proper chairs on a balcony. All the staff are very friendly and helpful The pool on the 3rd floor is small but was adequate for the number of people there during our week. The first few nights we were woken in the night by later revellers making noise in the corridors but after a few nights I think we got used to it (or were just so tired we slept through it!). The apartments are quite a walk to a beach and, as the main Los Cristianos beach is currently undergoing quite a bit of building work and refurbishment, the best beach is Playa de la Vistas which ended up taking about 3/4 hour to walk to (downhill – not so bad – we didn’t try walking home uphill!) Taxis are cheap though – around 5 euros a trip. As we were so far from the main part of Los Cristianos we used a few of the bars and restaurants just up the hill from the Reveron. Would recommend the Indian, El Padrino and the Tapas restaurant. The bar across the road from the apartments is called Shambles and is good fun and serves very large measures of spirits (cost 4 euros a drink)! Evening entertainment is usually karaoke. Other bars in the area we tried are Bar 39 and the Terrace Bar which were both OK. The nearest supermarket is the Spar up the hill from the apartments which is well stocked and reasonably priced. The restaurant which is part of the apartments - Little Italy does a good English breakfast but we ate there once in the evening and my friend’s chicken wasn’t up to much although I enjoyed the spag bol! On a rainy day we went shopping to Las Americas to Americas Plaza which is great and while there we treated ourselves to Chinese for lunch and would definitely recommend Khong Tsha just along the street from the Americas Plaza. Great food. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Reveron and if you’re happy to stay at a quieter part of town would recommend it.

Another great holiday

29 March 2008
Just back from another stay in the Reveron this time with the family. As always the apartments were wonderfully clean and tidy, well equipped with really helpful staff. The bar across the road complimented the Italian restaurant where a cool glass of sangria, compliments of the Reveron was a welcome start to the holiday.Highly recommended and we will be returning soon.

Can't be beated

My husband and I have stayed at the appartments many times both as a couple and accompanied by our family including our 5 year old grandchild. As always our accomodation was well prsented;clean, well equipped and central for all amenities. The staff in reception were helpful as always with a good command of the english language which was helpful as our limited spanish could have let us down.As the weather was wet for two days of the holiday the jaccuzi was a real treat, a contrast to the sparking but somewhat bracing pool when the sun shone. The billiards table, darts board and table tennis were also available at a small fee. The kariokee bar just across the road serves a full english breakfast with "real" bacon, news papers thown in. We are returning again soon.

Relaxing Holiday

04 October 2007
Great apartment, very clean & reasonably well equiped. Could have done with another socket in the kitchen area to save having to unplug the kettle to use the toaster at breakfast time. Great Piano Bar (a good mix of music & cocktails) & a fab Steakhouse up the hill. The new shopping centre should be good once all of the shops are occupied. Would happily go there again but would prefer a room at the back as the Karaoke Bar across the road could be heard until midnight & I need my sleep.

Outstanding Staff.

For the price of our apartment we were more than happy. We were on the third floor with lovely views, opposite we had the use of a balcony with sun beds overlooking the sea, stunning. Our apt was cleaned daily. There are nominal charges for tv fans and internet (if required). Location wise it was super, everything very close by. Would we stay in the Reveron again? Without a doubt. my husband & i have stayed at these apartments many times & weve not had 1 bad experience the apartments are well equipped with all you need -a nice welcome pack of water and fruit. the walk from the beach to the apartments is about 5mins but before you go back to your room you can stop off at the restaurant for a drink, light snack or a full three course meal. we will be staying here again this year 2007.
