Excellent hotel, right in the heart of bangkok, just a short way to the lively bars and restuarnts. I stayed here Nov 2004 with my girlfriend and we both could'nt believe how nice it was. stayed on about the tenth floor, so had great views over bangkok, but there's even better views from the quite brilliant restuarant at the top of the hotel. The're was always plenty of staff to help you with anything you wanted, and they always helped you with a smile, and so polite. Room service did it for me though, if you've ever been to Bangkok then you'll now how exhausting it is and after a hard days sight seeing room service seems most appealling, but just wait until you get it, we only orded a thai curry, spring rolls, and the usual, but in only about 5 minutes they wheeled in a big full round table full of food, loads of sources, bottles of water (free) fancy glasses, little thai plates and crockery, it was so special just for room service, I even took a photo of it. I now what your thinking how much did it cost but when worked out about £5 - £10 for two, unbelievable. Rooms are great just what you'de expect from 5* very spacious with massive windows. we only stopped for 3 nights but would have loved to stop longer.
