A poor hotel

29 August 2008
The hotel is a long way from Roma Termini and most of the main sights in Rome. Our room was very bare and tatty and in need of modernisation. I used 1 small bottle of still water from the minibar and was charged 6 Euro on check out. We were supposed to return to this hotel at the end of our holiday but decided to book into a different hotel.

Easy place to travel around Roma

19 August 2008
We had room 172 on the first floor. Out the window was a tin roof at the same level as window and all you could see was walls but this helped to keep the room cool. The rooms where clean and tidy with good air conditioning. There was a flat screen t.v. with internet & extra t.v. channels available at an extra cost. The bathroom was ok, a but had a problem with discharge of water in the bathtub and sink. Breakfast was really good but the same every day. Staff are freindly if you try to speak Italyan but that is the norm in Rome. This hotel is great value for money.

Good,maybe not 4 stars but i'm satisfied

Room gave to us was number 166 at the first floor. Out the window in the room there were a wall...fortunally not so closed like room near our:)In the room carpeting were a little dirty, bathroom was ok, a little problem with discharge of water in the bathtub. Hotel is very near metro Roma-Viterbo.From Flaminio (stop metro A) take this line and go out at the second stop (Euclide).Out the station, on the left, 50m there's hotel. At the night i advise take bus nr.25 (es. from Piazzale Ghigi) and Stop at Flaminio Tiziano. From there, follow Maresciallo Pilsudski street and after 15min you'll be in Hotel. Breakfast was super, crossaint, juice, tea, water, chocolate, bread, salami, ham, cheese, etc etc. Super, 10+ for breakfast! If i've to give a vote, considering all...8/10. A little advise. Ask room from the 3 floor because i think than will better.

Short Stay Trip for 40th Celebration

This hotel is great value for money although the staff aren't particularly freindly (cleaning staff are) but that appeares to be the norm in Rome so don't let that put you off the sights are worth every bad mannered person you meet.. Lovely, bright & elegant snack bar, with a good value breakfast - 3 different fruit juices , 3 types of coffee, tea, water, cereal, continental breakfast with the usual preserves, scambled eggs and an assortment of sweet cakes which I guess is the norm in Italy. Our room looked out onto a brick wall which was a little disapointing, then again you don't get much spare time to be sitting in your room. Neat double bed, bedside cabinet, wardrobe. flat screen t.v. (internet & extra t.v. channels available at an extra cost), clean & bright bathroom with bath & overhead shower. About 45 minutes walk from Rome centre but the metro is 20 yards away snd will take approximately 10 min max to get to your first tourist site. Again we only found this out by chance, there are no signposts and the reception staff don't advise you on anything unless you ask the question. I would definately recomend this hotel to anyone wanting a short break in Rome.

Really lovely hotel, great breakfast and beautiful interior. Not the best location as it is quite far from the city centre, but the metro station is at the end of the road. There isn't a pool which is a shame but the staff are friendly, efficient and checking in and out was completely problem free! The room we had was fairly small, but with a big bathroom, which wasn't of the best quality, but was more than adequate for us. They have satellite television, but only news channels in English, movies are available on demand, if you're not too busy sight-seeing! The restaurant is quite expensive and the food isn't particularly good quality, but with so many amazing restaurants in the city, there's really no need to eat there! This hotel was certainly worth what we paid for it and I would definitely consider staying there again next time I'm in Rome!
