Cerainly not a 4* hotel. No safe in room, no fridge in room and old type key door locks which do not fill you with confidence of security. No ice machines on any floor, you had to go down to the bar to collect a tub of ice. The room was adequate in size and clean with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was small with a fixed head shower that was good for showering if you were under five feet tall. Being a six footer, I had to keep bending down. The shampoo and shower jel were in sachets. The prices in the hotel were 4*+. £6 for a bottle of beer, £8 for a spirt. Make sure to book an option with breakfast, otherwise it will cost you at least £13 for the buffet and then another £7 for anything cooked. The location is good and the staff are very friendly. I would stay here again as the price is acceptable. But, do as we did, do not run any costs up in the hotel, drink and eat out.
