Booked last minute all inclusive -approx £18 per pers per night. Hotel is about 15 mins from downtown - taxi costs LE30 each way - don't pay more than LE40 from airport.
You get what you pay for - rooms basic and slightly dated - the ones leading out to the beach are great. Food isn't that bad - it's a buffet 3 times a day and there is plenty - daily fresh bread and omelettes made to order. Good for kids - lots of entertainment.Great location right on beach - beds free and towels, daily cleaning service. Great horse riding - go and see Wahed for rides out in desert and up and down the beach. Camel rides too. Beer always warm - they should keep the bottles in the fridge!!! Red wine ok, you get used to it! Fridge in room very handy. Would go again at the price we paid, not 5 star luxury but we had a great time, hardly spent a penny!!!
