FIRST class as always
14 December 2007
Yet again another enjoyable stay at this Hotel, the staff are warm & friendly, the roomsare extremely comfortable
would like them to offer more choice in TV Channels, rather than want you to pay to view.
Also disappointed they are charging now for 30 mins wireless access £3
£5 for 1 hour,amd £10 for 24 hours.
As i subscribe to Bt openzone ,and this was what the Hotel had ,i was disappointed to pay another £20 over 3 days for wireless access,so for that reason, and the limited TV stations i will give it a 4 rating.

A great Hotel!
26 November 2007
I've given this 4, just because to get 5 you'd need to be out of this world.
The location is excellent if you have a car. It's an easy 5-10 minutes drive down to the city centre and the same for the more morbid Belfast Mural tourists.
The room was clean and to a nice standard.
It has a very nice pool and health facilities, but beware everyone is required to wear a swim cap. That'll set you back £2 if you forget to bring one.
I never used the restaurants, but a friendly Belfaster told me that the Indian one was top notch.
The Sunday morning breakfast was a real treat! Eat as much Ulster fry as you like. For those of you who enjoy health food, there was an excellent fruit stash and a wide variety of cereals.

Great
24 August 2007
Ramada hotel is absolutely gorgeous. I have stayed in other 4 and 5 star hotels and this hotel is pure class. Rooms are decorated to a high standard and cleanliness is outstanding. Reception, bar and cleaning staff are the most friendliest I have come across on my travels. However, a taxi/car is needed to get into city centre. Would def stay here again. Great for a romantic getaway with nice views and walks nearby.

A beautiful hotel, beautiful bedroom, really helpful and friendly staff. A great value place to stay as long as you book beforehand - my AlphaRoom booking was a third of the price they were charging other guests!

expenses
23 May 2007
Make sure to shop around as cheaper prices can be obtained through various internet agents. Even so, this is a very nice hotel with excellent service and facilities. Bar prices are expected for 4 star hotel - on average £3-4/drink. The surrounding park is lovely and good for walks. Think it is worth mentioning though that taxi into town is approx £6 and taxi to airport is £27. So excellent if you want a quiet weekend away. Also has on-site fitness centre and pool and steam room which is again a bonus. All in all, excellent if you don't mind the taxi fares.

Review of 'Ramada Belfast'
27 November 2006
Just stayed the weekend at the Ramada Shaws Bridge Belfast. Excellent, Outside the city centre but very good location for driving either into the city or travelling to all parts of the country. The Motorways are only a few minutes away which means easy access to get to the airports both Belfast International and City plus driving south to Dublin. Everyone was very friendly,we had a room on the first floor with two double beds, all you need, tea and coffee maker, with plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and bisciuts, in room safe,TV, plus ironing board etc and very good bathroom. The buffet breakfast was one of the best, lots of fresh fruit, juices including cranberry, and the full Irish Fry,you will never go hungry! Service was fast and friendly. There are three places to eat, the main restaurant, the bar for snacks plus a Indian restaurant, The bar drinks prices are not cheap but what you expect in a four star hotel. Although we did not visit, there is a Health Centre and swimming pool. I would say its a great hotel with good food, friendly service and good location for travelling around.

Review of 'Ramada Belfast'
19 November 2006
I've been in many hotels over the years either travelling solo or with my family. I have 2 or 3 hotels I use regularly because I have come to trust them over the years. Moreover, I have loyalty cards. This is the first time I tried the Ramada chain of hotels. What I experienced was quite shocking. I chose the Ramada simply because it was nearest the venue of my meeting. This turned out to be an inspired decision. My suprise started the moment I stepped inside the reception foyer. The decor was clearly of a high standard. The reception staff were pleasant and absolutely professional. When I got to my room, forgive me for thinking this was a five star hotel. This is why in life, the advice is that one should experiment with many things before concluding that what they have is the best. Suffice it to say that I was so impressed with the Ramada Belfast thatI have decided to take my family for a christmas break next month.

Excellent hotel , rooms good, leisure facilities excellent, staff friendly, and Nick the suburbia manager is switched on , nothing too much trouble. I would personally prefer a sports channel/channels on the tv menu , rather than the pay films that i never use, and at £6.95 a time far too expensive anyway, have stayed here a few times over the last two years good location, and good value for money

Review of 'RAMADA BELFAST'
25 July 2006
Very pleased with hotel, staff and the food was lovely. Was a bit disappointed that the swimming pool was not more accessible to guests. Swimming caps to be worn at £2 per time and £1 for a towel, this should be clear along with the true distance the hotel is from the centre.

Review of 'RAMADA BELFAST'
25 July 2006
Hotel was lovely, staff friendly, very clean and the food was amazing. We had however been led to believe that the hotel was a 20 min walk in to Belfast centre, which was a shame as it was at least over an hours walk, a taxi at £6.50 per journey was required twice there and back per day, the buses were not regular. Perhaps a shuttle bus a few times a day could benefit this hotel.

Review of 'RAMADA BELFAST'
09 June 2006
I have stayed at the ramada Belfast a number of times now,and my last visit was every bit as good as my first. The Hotel sits a couple of miles out of the town centre ,within a mile of Forrester Hills shopping centre.Every thing is a short taxi ride. The Hotel itself has an excellent restaurant, with excellent breakfasts, the bar sells nice reasonably proced bar meals, and has sky tv.Alternatively the Hotel has an Indian retaurant next door which is also very good. The Health Centre /Fitness Suite is first class. All the staff are very warm & friendlyincl the General Manager, and Bar Manager. The Bedrooms & Bathrooms are immaculate and are great value for money, i would reccomend this hotel to everyone.

My short break in Belfast
18 April 2006
My stay in the Ramada was excellent, the rooms are light and airy and very clean, always plenty of tea and biscuites in the room, the food and staff were first to none, the staff even went out of their way to find me some headache tablets.
When I return I will defently stay at the Ramada again, i will also recomend it to my friends.

Review of 'RAMADA BELFAST'
13 April 2006
A nice, quiet hotel conveniently located for City Airport. Reception staff were polite and very helpful, ordered taxis when we wanted them, and gave us good advice on the city. Our standard room had a super-sized and extremely comfortable bed, and the small bathroom was immaculate. A great breakfast. The only negative was poor service in the bar (where we had some light snack-meals, and we weren't the only ones complaining.

26 February 2006
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The welcome was first class, we had a clear tour of the hotel's facilities on arrival. All of the hotel staff were very friendly. They were also very helpful when we needed further information, maps, booking taxis etc. The room was a good size and had all the facilities that we could have needed. It was also cleaned to a good standard each day. We dined in the restaurant one evening and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal, with both food and service being very good. We would definately stay here again when we next visit Belfast.

10 February 2006
Very well appointed Hotel set in a very nice area of Belfast. Rooms and service are very good indeed. I had a slight telephone problem and the staff sorted it out pleasantly and efficiently and offered some recompense for the inconvenience. Service is often difficult to find, these days, but the Ramada was very good and I would stay there again

21 December 2005
I found this hotel conveniently situated to the City Centre although it had the ambiance of a Country residence. I was greeted with a genuinely warm welcome and found the staff polite and very helpful. The food was excellent and my Client for dinner was suitably impressed. The room was spotless, warm and very comfortable and I would use this hotel again with hesitation.
