Review of 'RAMADA ALMOHADES CASABLANCA'

27 January 2007
My third stay at Ramada Les Almohades (January 2007) was for 18 nights. Good impression, better room than last time, very attentive, nice and careful staff. My overall opinion about the hotel has improved, and I have made my reservation already for my 4th stay (21 nights). Some few details could still be improved though, as for instance a few fluctuatons in the stability of the Internet connextion, or insufficient reposition of laundry bags. Ramada Les Almohades clearly serves my preference anyway in terms of cost/benefit ration and I thank all the very friendly staff for my pleasant stays there.

Review of 'RAMADA ALMOHADES CASABLANCA'

This is my second stay at Ramada Les Almohades Hotel in Casablanca. This time I sayed an initial period of 11 nights, which I had to extend to 17 nights for professional reasons. My first impressions are confirmed: Quiet, clean and within the limits of honesty. Good breakfast. Rooms are ok but some details in maintenance (curtains) would deserve a bit more attention. The staff are very kind but not very efficient sometimes. Internet connection in all rooms and in main public areas is a decisive plus for me. All in all, it would fit a normal 3-stars standard in Europe, but not more. I will probably continue to use it on my regular trips to Casablanca.

The Ramada Almohades Hotel in Casablanca was suitable enough for my needs as professional solo traveller. The room was clean although a bit smelly. One of the two lifts was out of order. Breakfast was of a good standard and Internet connexion in the room (cabled) and in the lobby/bar (wifi) is a relevant asset. I will use the hotel again for sure, but I would tend to say that it fits more in a 3-star than in the published 4-star rating by European standards.
