A club trip was organised to Madrid including a night in the Rafael Ventas hotel in the middle of July. Because of travel timings it was necessary for me to stay over the previous night.
I found the hotel to be smart, clean and friendly.
The breakfast selection was perfectly adequate, and the buffet lunch served for the start of the club activities showed off a range of spanish food styles.
Although not in the centre of Madrid, the hotel is located near a metro station and the whole city is easily accessible.
The air conditioning worked well enough that the room was not too hot at night.
The only possible roblem for some travellers is that the location on a main road may mean that some traffic noise is experienced.
A recommended hotel which I would have no problems returning to.
