enjoyable

First time in the hotel, booking in was quick and efficient, room great beds very comfortable. shower was poor so had a bath instead. bar food tasty and reasonably priced; entertainment would've been nice but no big problem; found all the staff very helpful and pleasant. fitness/health suite excellent. will definitely return.

Not bad
14 January 2008
Had a reasonably good stay at the radisson - I was very disappointed to discover on arrival that the hotel leisure centre was closed and there was no mention of this before arrival (given this was one of the main reasons I choose the hotel, I wasnt happy!) they gave guests use of the sauna and steam room in their spa instead but space was very limited and it was no substitute for a pool!
Rooms are nice but the one big let down for this hotel is the bar - its so under staffed - there were 2 staff in the whole bar area on friday meaning guests had to fight to get food orders taken and to get a drink - bar is definatly not 4 star as the furniture is worn and the service is dire. Food in the main resturant isnt anything special either.
Apart from that its a good hotel - but with very little more effort from the management to provide guests with a higher level of service it could be a great hotel

Review of 'Radisson Sas Sligo'

The hotel was lovely. Not an ideal location for many as it is a couple of miles outside town, but was ideal for us as we had a driver. Rooms very nice; pool and hot tub very plush; breakfast very varied and of good quality. When we checked in, the reservation had not come through from Radisson HQ, but the staff were very accommodating and sorted us out well. A complementary cup of tea and a biscuit for our troubles too.

Relaxing stay
09 September 2006
Mature couple stayed on the 3/9/06 . On entering the hotel found the staff very helpfull and checkin was very quick . Arrived late on the Sat at 7.00 pm , but was still able to use the leisure vacalities which are to a very high standered . Hot tub ect . Had a very relaxing evening in the bar as there was music provided by one man band found the staff at the bar also very friendly . This is an ideal location for a weekend break . Will be returning SOON !
