I have stayed here before and the standard of decor and upkeep has definitely fallen. We were allocated to a smoking room even though neither of us smoke. The stench of cigarettes permeated all of the bedding and furnishings even though the windows were kept open throughout our stay. Other problems included a dirty bath on arrival [although this was cleaned promptly when we complained] and a sink where the waste did not drain properly. Breakfast was ok, staff friendly, cheap. Would not go back.
