Hotel Puerta de Toledo

We found this a nice hotel, with friendly, efficient staff. The room was serviced early each day and the public areas were always clean and tidy. We had a room at the back of the hotel, which didn't provide any view, but was quiet. The only minus points were that the air conditioning wasn't working and the hotel plumbing was sometimes noisy. The hotel is located on a busy traffic island but there isn't much else in the vacinity, although the metro is opposite and it was only a 15 minute walk into the centre of town. Breakfast was good, and there was a good cafe downstairs. Overall the hotel was good value.

When we got to the hotel, we were delighted with the staffs and they were very nice. The room was big and very clean, cleaners come in each morning change towels. Puerta De Toledo is a nice place and the royal palace is just 10 minutes walk and its in the city. There is a underground metro near the hotel and trains fare are very cheap. Metro had too many steps and not suitable for mobility and elderlies we would go back and stay at this hotel again.

Friendly and helpful staff, all the usual services needed for visit to Madrid.Very reasonably priced.Very good location from metro station.I would definitely recommend this hotel to other visitors.Thenks for good time in Madrid.

Review of 'PUERTA DE TOLEDO'

Friendly and helpful staff, all the usual services needed for visit to Madrid. Very reasonably priced hotel just not the latest decor. On the edge of the central area but within easy walking distance of the Prado etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other visitors.
